B-side is a music magazine based in Berkeley, California that aims to connect the Berkeley community with the local, national, and global music scene.

Lu served as the magazine’s design lead for two semesters, successfully compiling and printing two full magazines. Both issues sold-out all 300 copies that were printed.

The role involved selecting the content, designing the layout, and curating the style of the magazine. Additionally, Lu oversaw the production of merchandise, posters, and social media graphics for the organization.
